Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital, Cambridge
Spire Healthcare’s refurbishment programme enrolled Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital as one of its first sites to benefit from its company-wide corporate identity investment.
Our design competition-winning concept was adapted to the hospital specific needs focusing on the reception and outpatient department which included an Eye Clinic.
The key elements improved on were the purpose made joinery, loose furniture, finishes and artificial lighting while site specific artwork, feature panelling and bespoke glazing was used to create a welcoming and relaxed front of house environment.
The staff was impressed on how ideas brought from other building sectors could transform the look of their existing spaces and improve patient welfare.
