Becoming an Architect

Sonnemann Toon Architects were delighted to have two students on board last week completing their work experience placement with us! Programmed activities included site visits to see our current projects, an office social outing to see The Serpentine Pavilion and a series of tasks, designed to give students an insight into what an Architect does and what it is like to work in an office environment. The students were asked to prepare and present their own projects which included a design proposal to refurbish an internal area of an existing building. It was great to see both had a hands-on approach and put in the effort to meet the deadlines and work as a team. The proposals showed careful consideration for the user experience and we thoroughly enjoyed the presentations at the end of the week! Well done!
