Sonnemann Toon Architects organised a whistle stop tour of the North West to see two new high profile hospitals, firstly calling at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital which is making great progress on site, and then travelling to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital which opened October 2015. As well as appreciating a tour of the brilliant new children’s facility, we had a lessons learnt session with the Alder Hey Trust who provided us with some excellent advice to ourselves, our clients at Carillion and the Trust at Midland Metropolitan Hospital for the later design stages of our project.
