This summer, our graphic designer Shanshan Liu, finished her graduation project 'Mind the Gap' at Central Saint Martins. This project is selected as part of Creative Unions exhibition for London Design Festival 2017. 'Mind the Gap' is a creative campaign to fight land banking - a practice in which developers hoard undeveloped plots to inflate the price of land, making access to affordable housing even harder for young Londoners. Walking the streets of London, participants find gaps between buildings, fill those gaps with an inflatable house to draw attention to them, and leave behind 'planning notice' to raise awareness of the problem.
