Always keen to widen our appreciation of current issues and projects, some of the Sonnemann Toon team attended the Building Centre’s ‘Building Healthy Communities’ series – ‘Mental Healthcare’ and ‘Hospitals and Healthcare’, focusing on recent social models and design principles to how the built environment can improve patient experience, aid recovery and adapt to changing care patterns. The seminars presented a variety of speakers from the world of architecture and research which was followed by a lively debate we enjoyed continuing into the remainder of the evening.
