Sonnemann Toon Architects took part in the “RIBA North London Architects: Building Visit” of No1 New Oxford Street, recently refurbished Art Moderne landmark office building. It was great to meet the project architects and learn more about the 95,000 sqft building. Carefully considered materials and excellent construction detailing binds the scheme together. A striking lightwell, cascades natural light into the ground floor entrance and a sensitive approach to the facade refurbishment, compliments the 1939 Art Deco design.
