RIBA Mies van der Rohe and James Stirling Circling the Square

Circling the Square visit was a reflection on the extraordinary story of why Mies failed and Stirling prevailed at a six-acre site close to the City’s geographic centre. It was fascinating to experience a great Mansion House Square model, showing Mies’ tower and have an opportunity to study Stirling’s ‘worm’s eye’ axonometric projection drawing.
