2021 summer ‘Toon Tour’ took us through the ‘Devil’s Acre’, the part of the metropolis between Westminster and Victoria Station. Since Dickens said of the area ‘The most lordly streets are frequently but a mask for the squalid districts which lie behind them’ things have improved greatly. We took in Millbank Tower, Smith Square, Channel 4 HQ and Lindley Hall amongst others. It was great to share a drink in the fresh air!
