Two original fireplaces uncovered at The Energy Institute
2 August, 2015
At The Energy Institute Phase 1 has completed, including the refurbishment of the office areas in the 1950’s extension. Phase 2 of the construction programme now began in the front 1770’s original house (the home of the Architect Alfred Waterhouse from 1830-1905). As part of the works two original fireplaces have been uncovered in the library and rear office.
