Work Experience
30 July, 2017
This year Sonnemann Toon offered placements to four work experience students who researched and compared famous London buildings and landmarks such as British Museum, Leadenhall Market, National Theatre, Palace Theatre, London Aquatics Centre, St. Paul’s Cathedral, The Shard and Monument. The students investigated how the architectural response to the function of the buildings has changed over time. Site visits to the Proton Beam Therapy facility, currently under construction in a listed Harley Street property, as well as a medical fitout to a new-build in Chancery Lane helped them gain further insight into the comparison between new and old.
