St. Francis & St. Elizabeth Wards, London NW8
The interior upgrade of two wards at the Hospital of St. John and St. Elizabeth has given them a new lease of life. Both wards are located to the front of the hospital, benefiting from views of the greenery of St. John’s Wood and plenty of daylight. We worked closely with hospital users to provide a new layout that supported the clinical team’s future vision for inpatient care. We were also commissioned to develop the interior design. A palette of subdued natural colours and textures, alongside feature glass bedhead panels and bespoke walnut joinery has created an environment that feels both comforting and uplifting.
The project has established a new interior design approach for the hospital and future schemes will adopt the same palette ensuring that, over time, all areas of the hospital have a consistent look and feel.
