Wellington Hospital’s Rehabilitation Centre, London
The Wellington Hospital’s Rehabilitation Centre is the largest private centre in the UK. Working closely with HCA’s expert clinical teams we designed the facility to support the specialist care of rehabilitation patients. Intensive and bespoke programmes of care for patients, particularly those with complex neurological injuries, requires a wide range of spaces and specialist equipment.
The programme of refurbishment included a new imaging suite, rehabilitation ward, ITU, physiotherapy gym, recovery and outpatient centre. A coordinated palette of finishes was applied with differing emphasis across the facility; light and seamless in the most clinically acute areas with a greater degree of texture and warmth characterising waiting areas and bedrooms.
Natural light and views to the outside help to create a therapeutic environment; bright spaces where patients can feel safe and relaxed over the course of their recovery.
