The new Reception and Outpatient Department to Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital is open! It was a transformation from a Hospital to a Hospitality environment, strengthening the corporate identity and bringing light and space to this popular local hospital. The Reception was remodelled to give a sense of arrival and waiting areas reimagined to achieve a Hotel ambience. The new Cambridge inspired Outpatients Department is clinical and clean, but not cold – from waiting room seating through to cubicle curtains the theme has been maintained.

The Hospital representative said: "As a result we have the most incredible consulting rooms and reception, way beyond what we could have imagined. It has turned our reception from what was feeling like a quiet waiting room in to a social experience in a relaxed atmosphere for the patients".
